Foenkk is a highly explosive drum 'n break orchestra which makes you want to do nothing but dance. Seventeen people on stage are making the biggest drum 'n bass and breakbeat sounds and combine them with modern classical music. Tough beats, constant high energy, amazing sound and passionate dedication is what makes Foenkk one of a kind. With loads of instruments like horns, strings and a band with even an electronic department Foenkk will step out of the ordinary and make music special again.

In this orchestra you will see players who represent more bands and orchestras. You can recognize members of the Spotrockers, ROOS, NJBE, the Riciotti Ensemble and many more. All these instruments and players are no problem for the big voice of LouLou and the wicked words of MC Graveface.
The heavy sound is translated in rich and extreme visuals by artist Bram Terra. His participation in Foenkk makes the orchestra complete.

Composer and initiator Chiel Busscher wrote the music with a special goal in mind: "Music is about energy and feel. Foenkk will convince people that the sound of modern classical music can be highly energetic and danceable as well. And with that I hope to combine two worlds of music which seem to exist nowadays: popular and classical music."
